Outdoor run today

My husband and I went out for our first outdoor run of the year! Still a little cold, but felt good. My husband had a hard time keeping up with me, but made it in the end!

Five mile run

My five mile run was wonderful! I am really starting to accomplish mind over body and look forward to my runs every day!!

Got my 4 mile run in

Too sick on wednesday to run. Thursday,I was able to get my 4 mile run in. Felt really good, really trying to focus on mind over body and think it is working for me! I am looking forward to my run today! My husband just downloaded me some new music, I am ready to go today! Never thought I would look forward to my runs as much as I have been lately!

Run - 0.8 hours - 03/04/2008

Had a great run today. Was on my way to running four miles today, but had to stop early with kids constantly needing my attention since dad was not good enough for them! Why does that always happen? Mom is busy doing something, dad is not, but yet they have to have mom?! I am really trying to focus on mind over body to lengthen my runs. This has always been a weakness for me in the past. Tonight I did pretty well and really felt I could have made my goal of 4 miles. There is always another day!

The start of my training.

So sick today, but managed to get my butt on the treadmill for my first run of the month and the first run of my training. Felt really good today during my run. Not a long one, but am going to start out slow and work my way up gradually. Made sure to stretch really good before and after. As I was running I can’t help but picture myself slimmer and soon running in a sportsbra and shorts, no more baggy t-shirts!!

I’m a woman from DeForest WI US, born in 1978.

My favorite sports include: running walking hiking team

My goals are: Training to run my first 15K race, and to get into the best shape I can.

My other favorite activities include: Softball, basketball.
